The Polish-Ukrainian Youth Exchange Council is designed to support direct contacts and cooperation between Polish and Ukrainian youth. Young people join forces to build friendly relations between the societies of both countries. Project participants get to know each other’s culture, traditions and history, break common stereotypes and establish relationships.
As part of the PURWM, non-governmental organizations obtain funds, among others for the implementation of youth exchanges and meetings, preparatory and contact seminars as well as for information and promotion projects.
